Resting in Jesus | Genesis 2:1-3
On the seventh day of Creation, with nothing left to make or add, God entered into a day of rest. God blessed and sanctified this day, and unlike the previous six days, It was a day without ending. This signalled that God intended man to permanently live in and from rest. This Sabbath rest is not a break from work, but rather a break from self-effort and striving as we live and work from resting in Jesus.
